Syria

Straight Street DamascusTBC and I were blessed to visit Damascus in 2009.  Syria is a gorgeous country, full of generous people and amazing food and moving scenes of Muslim and Christian children playing together.  At least that’s what it was like in 2009.

For the love of God, pray for Syria today.  Read more here.

  1. Greetings.
My name is Philip Farah, a Palestinian Christian who lives in the US.
I am writing to ask permission to use the photo of the Church & Mosque near Bab Shaqi in Damascus (or is it Bab Tuma?)
Many of my family fled to Damascus in 1948 when Israel was established.
I’m now submitting an article to the Huffington Post about the Syrian situation and mentioning Christians who live there.
I’d great appreciate permission to use your photo.

Here is my “nlog” site at Huff Post:

By the way, is this the Street Called Straight? (from the Bible)

  2. Please let me know if I can use the photo by e-mailing me.
